
Academy Basecamp Branding
Inspired by mountain expeditions, Role Trek is a five-day program designed to mirror the rewarding climb to success for Walmart Academy facilitators.
Project Overview
I was tasked with rebranding the Academy Basecamp facilitator training program to reflect the journey and growth of new facilitators.
Brand Alignment
I followed Walmart’s brand guidelines to ensure every design element fit the company’s visual identity.
Concept Development
I brainstormed symbols of adventure such as mountains, paths, and compasses to capture the spirit of the program.
Design Execution
I focused on simplicity and clarity, experimenting with color and typography. The final logo features a bold mountain peak, tree-line silhouettes, and a hiking element, all set on a crisp topographic background. Each training type is identified by a unique trekking tool and frame shape.
Outcome
The new branding is modern, memorable, and clearly communicates the program’s theme while staying true to Walmart’s brand.
